Celebrating Aboriginal Day!

The children celebrated Aboriginal Day in the month of June. This occasion is a wonderful opportunity to appreciate and learn about the indigenous culture and how it is ingrained throughout Canada. We read stories about First Nations culture, created art, and discussed traditional clothing and some of the cultural items such as inukshuks, totems, tepees and dream catchers.
