One of the areas of the Casa Montessori environment is Practical Life. Activities from this area are usually the ones first introduced to the children as they move into the Casa classroom. These tasks provide an opportunity for the children’s development in the categories of Motor Skill, Self Care, Care of Environment as well as Grace and Courtesy.
