One of our favourite activities to participate in is yoga class. The children take part in a yoga class weekly with Cheeba, their yoga instructor. With Cheeba’s experience and calm demeanor, the children really look up to her and try to emulate her. In these pictures, the children are working together to form a flower with their bodies!
Yoga is an ancient form of exercise and meditation that involves slow movements and deep breathing. The children thoroughly enjoy practicing this art which aids them in relaxation and balance. It helps the children become aware of their body and their body control. It also helps in the development of self-discipline.
