North Casa began the new season of Autumn by learning all about how apples grow. We learned that when you bite into a juicy apple, you are actually eating part of the flower. We learned all the parts of an apple, coloured worksheets, ‘pricked a shape’ apples and even decorated apples in our classroom. After learning the life cycle of an apple, we explored the different types of apples we eat. We tasted Red Delicious, McIntosh, Golden Delicious and Granny Smith. The apple tasting was delicious!
