As an Under 3 Montessori community, we participate in enjoying our environment and keeping it beautiful and well maintained. In Autumn, we observe the leaves changing colours and falling to the ground. We rake up the leaves into piles and of course jump on them when the opportunity arises! We use a sweeper and dustpan or just collect small piles of leaves and place them in a yard waste bag. What a wonderful way to appreciate our environment and promote being an active participant in our community!
