Throughout the winter months, the children dress in their snowsuits, wear their mittens, put on their hats and boots in order to head out to the playground and play in the snow. Shovels, scoops, and buckets are offered to the children to help develop their grasping, scooping, and dumping skills. Overall, the children’s fine and gross motor skills are utilized.
