The children in the Under 2 classroom celebrated Diwali by dressing up in traditional clothing and painting fireworks on construction paper with a foam brush during art. The children also helped to make “Doodh Peda”, which is an Indian sweet that is prepared during festive occasions. During circle time, we played with instruments along with Diwali songs and listened to the story “Diwali Lights”. What a wonderful celebration!
