This year, Hanukkah began on the evening of Sunday, December 2nd and ended on the evening of Monday, December 10th. We enjoyed reading stories, listening to songs, and lighting the menorah as each day passed. We were privileged to have two of our young friends sing the Hanukkah prayer each time as we lit the candle with the Shamash. Another special treat for us this Hanukkah was that one of our parents volunteered to come in and teach us how to play the dreidel game. We each practiced spinning the top using our pincer grasp and enjoyed playing the game together. What a fun and informative experience!
