Yoga

Yoga is an ancient form of exercise and meditation involving slow movements and deep breathing.  The children thoroughly enjoy practicing this form of art, as it assists in refining balance, coordination, and flexibility. Yoga also helps the children with body awareness and control of movement through poses and stretches that are either practiced sitting, standing or lying down.

While the children are enjoying themselves in yoga class, they are indirectly guiding themselves in the development of their concentration, focus, self-discipline, and self-discovery.
