We experienced our first snowfall in Toronto this season. The children interacted with the snow through a sensorial science activity in the classroom. The children explored the snow with colourful ice cubes using a scoop, cups and tongs. They scooped and felt the snow, and observed the snow as it started to melt. This was a great activity to introduce snow to the children in an indoor environment and extend our outdoor environment.
