Breaded Chicken Strips
Ingredients
2 chicken breasts cut into strips
1/2 cup flour
1 tsp salt
1 tsp black pepper
1 cup buttermilk
4 cups corn flakes
1 tsp oregano
1/2 tsp basil
1/2 tsp rosemary
1/4 tsp marjoram
1/4 tsp cayenne pepper
Directions
1. Prepare the coating: run the corn flakes and spices through a food processor until fine.
2. Toss the chicken strips in a large bowl with the flour, salt and pepper until they are completely coated.
3. Shake off the excess flour and dip each chicken strip in the buttermilk, allow the excess to drip off.
4. Press each strip lightly into the coating on both sides until they are completely covered.
5. Arrange the strips on a baking sheet and bake until done, turning halfway, approximately 30 minutes at 350°F.
