Sue and Brittany made art with Brittany’s daughter. They wanted to share this fun creative activity!
Materials: Ice cube tray
Water
Food colouring
Popsicle sticks
Canvas or thick paper
Steps:
1) Fill ice cube tray with water.
2) Add a few drops of food colouring to each cube.
3) Place a popsicle stick in each cube, lean it against the side.
4) Place in freezer overnight.
5) Remove from freezer the next day, let the tray rest on the counter for several minutes before beginning the painting (to allow the ice cubes time to start to melt).
6) Start painting and have fun!
