In the Under 2 classroom, the children work on activities that promote the development of their fine motor skills. These materials encourage actions like grasping, reaching, releasing, and turning the wrist to assist in performing fine motor actions in correspondence with eye-hand coordination. These activities help to prepare young children for their future daily life activities such as writing, drawing, self-dressing, and cutting.
