Rebecca made a grass head and she wanted to share it with all her friends!
Materials:
Stockings or pantyhose
Grass seed
Soil
Googly eyes
Small hair ties
A cup
Scissors
- Stretch the stocking over a cup and put a few spoons of grass seed in the bottom.
- Put soil on top of the grass seed. You can fill it as big as you would like.
- Take it out of the cup and shape the soil down into a ball.
- Tie the bottom of the stocking in a knot and cut the stocking so there is a small tail long enough to go to the bottom of your cup, it will pull the water up out of the cup.
- Pinch the stocking and use the hair ties to tie the nose and ears to the desired sizes.
- Place on eyes. You may need to use some kind of glue to get them to stay. My eyes had sticker backs but after a few days of watering, the eyes fell off so I used a glue gun to reinforce them.
- Ta-Da! You’re done. Make sure to water your new friend daily and watch the hair grow!
