Let’s learn to peel hard-boiled eggs with Sheikha! This is another easy activity that you can do at home that enhances eye-hand coordination, 2 hands working together, and self-help and independence. They can even slice the eggs. It helps that they are delicious!
ITEMS NEEDED
Table and chair or floor; a tray; 3 small bowls: one for hard-boiled eggs with shells, one for discarded shells, and one for peeled eggs; optional butter knife and cutting board for slicing
METHOD
Wash hands before peeling hard-boiled eggs.
Get a bowl with an egg with shell, knocking egg on the surface of the table or bowl until the egg shell is cracked.
Peel the egg shell from the head of the egg, until the whole egg is peeled.
Put the egg shells into one bowl and the peeled egg into another bowl.
Slice up and/or eat the peeled egg!
