Rainbow Tracing With Melanie!

Collage of Rainbow Tracing

Here is a fun activity your child can do to continue learning their formation of numbers or letters at home.

Items needed:

White paper (or any light coloured paper that will show up the colours used)
(you can cut the paper down to a smaller size to save  paper)
Pencil
Coloured pencil crayons (or crayons or markers)

Ask your child if they would like to work on numbers or letters. Trace one number or letter with a pencil onto the paper for your child.

Rainbow tracing

Have your child trace over the number or letter using one colour at a time. Do this with all three colours chosen.

Colouring on a number

Your child will enjoy the visual representation of the formation of the numbers or letters they have made.

Number cards and pencil crayonsYou can also make a beautiful booklet after your child has done this activity with all their tracings into a Rainbow Booklet of Numbers or a Rainbow Booklet of Sounds by stapling their pages together.

Enjoy!
