On April 22nd, we celebrate Earth Day. Our Casa community spent several days learning about our amazing planet and various ways to take care of it. We delved into topics such as recycling, conservation and caring for nature.
We even learned an Earth Day poem:
“Our Earth is special, there is just one.
It gives us water, soil and sun.
People and animals share the land,
Let’s all lend a helping hand!
You can save water, and plant a tree
Make a better home for you and me.
Recycle things, don’t throw away
Make every day an Earth Day.”
We also planted seedlings in our playground so that we can nurture and care for them, and watch them grow and bloom.
