We are currently involved in exploring “All Things Camping”, and we are immersing ourselves. All we are missing are the night stars and a tent!
We are learning ‘Camp Chants’, such as, “There Was A Great Big Moose”, “Boom-Chicka-Boom, and “Do Your Ears Hang Low”!
We crafted our own bonfires, built structures out of toothpicks and marshmallows, painted t-shirts, as well as rocks, and learned to identify animal footprints, such as bear, coyote, deer, and rabbit prints.
We read stories about camping fun and the outdoor activities you can enjoy! We also, collectively, composed an acrostic poem.
