“There must be provision for the child to have contact with nature; to understand and appreciate the order, the harmony and the beauty in nature.” –Maria Montessori
Autumn is a season of changes. In our Under Three classroom, children have noticed the leaves and maple tree seeds scattered around the playground. The children have also been spotting, smelling, and picking-up the autumn flowers that grow around our playground.
We collected the leaves and flowers in our playground and created artwork for our windows, so that we can see and appreciate the nature that we have been encountering in the Autumn.
