The children in the Under 3 Community were thrilled to play with Snow!!! The first snowfall was an exciting experience for the children as they used their strong gross motor skills to push snow into piles using large blue and red shovels. The children used their hand-eye coordination to fill small buckets with snow using smaller shovels, filling them to the top and then flipping them over to reveal a unique shape underneath. Some children even enjoyed taking a spin on a sled, laughing and cheering as they went around the playground. The children experienced a wonderful weather phenomenon while learning and developing sensory and fine and gross motor skills while interacting with the snow and items in the playground!!!
