Pop-Up Activities

Children working with pop-up activities

In the Under 2 classroom, the children are offered a variety of activities to explore during the day. One of the activities that they are interested in are pop-up activities. Exploring pop-up activities allows the child to develop their fine motor strength, hand-eye coordination, curiosity, and concentration. As they use different movements with their hands and wrists to manipulate the buttons, their actions elicit a response. This teaches the child the concept of cause-and-effect. This activity also allows the child to repeat the process over and over until they are satisfied with their achievement.
