Holiday Fun

During the month of December, we learned about many holidays and celebrations. We learned about Hanukkah, Christmas, and Kwanzaa, their significance, traditions, and the symbols which represent these celebrations.

We learned about Menorahs and played the Dreidel game! We have also read books and poems to further explore all these wonderful, traditional, family centered holidays.

On this day, we played with dreidels and made some ornament crafts. One of them was an ornament made of pony beads which the children arranged in a metal cookie cutter and the teachers popped into the oven to melt. Now they are ready for the tree! Happy Holidays!
