“All the Little Princesses” Story

The cover page of the story with a castle and people

Over the last few weeks, the children in Casa East have been collaborating on a story which they entitled, “All The Little Princesses”.  We began to spin a tale during lunchtime as we ate. We would go around the table and each friend would add new pieces to the story. Then we thought, it would be a great story to write down on paper! Every so often, when the children expressed interest, we would add onto our story and illustrate as we went along. The children made up the plot, included each friend and teacher into it and added details that still make us laugh! Who wouldn’t want a horse named Onkie? We hope you enjoy reading it as much as we enjoyed writing it!

Once upon a time, there lived a Princess named Sahana. She worked at a bakery and made cupcakes. Along with Princess Sahana, there were other Princess bakers too. Their names were Princess Quinn, Princess Ava, Princess Antonietta, Princess Emily, and Princess Charley. They were all good bakers. Princess Quinn made the best macaroons and cake. Princess Ava made the best cake pops, especially chocolate ones. Princess Antonietta made the best bread. Princess Emily and Charley worked together to make the best sesame balls.

People from the whole village came to get the cupcakes and other sweet stuff. One day, a new person came to visit the village. He was a Prince. His name was Prince Ayaan. He was wearing a big red bowtie and so was his horse. He walked into the bakery and bought 2 each of everything. He gave his money to Princess Quinn and asked where he could find gold inside the castle.

Princess Quinn said she did not know where the gold was but Princess Ava did know. “Hello Sir. I hear you are looking for gold. I know just where to find it!” said Princess Ava. Prince Ayaan said, “Great, shall I follow you?” “No – I will tell you where to go to get the gold. The gold is underground. I will give you a shovel, this way you don’t get your nice red bowtie dirty!” “Well, thank you, my lady”, replied Prince Ayaan.

Princess Quinn reminds Princess Ava to tell him the gold is under the palace, not underground in the woods. All the Princesses shout, “Good bye Prince! Hope you find your gold”. “Good bye kind ladies.” “Don’t forget to bring my shovel back and the gold!” said Princess Ava. “Oh no, I will keep the gold treasure for myself!” The Princesses were shocked. They thought he would share – but no he wouldn’t.

Prince Ayaan went out to his horse, Onkie, and shared some delicious cake with Onkie. He got on his horse and galloped away. The Princesses chased after him. They wanted to get the gold first. As they were running, they ran into Princess Leisha and Prince Luca. Princess Quinn said, “Quick! We need your help! Run with us we need to get the gold first.” “Yes, let’s run to the stables and get our horses”, said Princess Emily. “Yes, that will be faster”, said Princess Ava. They arrived at the castle and found their friends Kamilah, Zane, Sienna, and Shama who work there. Princess Sahana says, “Did a Prince come here on a horse with a big red bowtie?” “Yes, he is in the dining room with the King. “Oh no”, shout the Princesses and Prince Luca. “King Kiran will not like it if he knew that Prince Ayaan wants to take his gold”, they say to each other.

The Princesses make a plan. They tell Sienna to go find the Queen. Princess Charley says to Sienna, “Find Queen Jerrica and tell her to tell King Kiran that Prince Ayan is tricking him to get the gold!”

Sienna rushes up the silver stairs to get to the Queen’s bedroom. Rishi and Kabir are guarding her door. Sienna tells them, “I need the Queen now!” Rishi and Kabir say, “we cannot let you in unless you say the magic word”. Sienna says “Oh dear! I think I forgot it!” She rushes back down the stairs and gets Wyatt from the kitchen. “Do you remember the magic word?” Wyatt said, “I remember it! It’s ‘cupcake’!” They rush back to the guards and say, “CUPCAKE”. The doors open. “Queen Jerrica, we have an emergency!” They tell her what’s happening and how she can help.

Queen Jerrica likes the plan! She runs down the silver stairs and bursts into the dining room. “Oh there you are my King Kiran. Chef Rachelle has a problem with making dinner tonight. Can you come with me to the kitchen to see what is happening?” King Kiran says, “Excuse my Prince Ayaan. I have to go see what Chef Rachelle needs. Prince Ayaan says, “No problem. Maybe I can get your workers to go feed Onkie outside. “Of course, we will send Zane and Adrian”, replied the King.

Once the King and Queen get to the kitchen, the Queen tells him that Prince Ayaan is there to take their gold. “Oh no, we can’t let that happen!” says King Kiran. “Quick, get my bodyguards, Gianni, Beau, and Sahej! They will protect our castle and make Prince Ayaan leave”. King Kiran rings a bell and his bodyguards come. His bodyguards are big and strong! They quickly go and get Prince Ayaan and his horse Onkie and carry them to the airport. The bodyguards buy a ticket to Miami from Joanna and Elaina who work at the airport. They gave them $2.00 for each ticket and say, “Don’t come back to the castle!” “Sure, I won’t come back because I always wanted to go to Miami! They have restaurants and more gold!” said Prince Ayaan.

Back in the village, King Kiran and Queen Jerrica ask the Princesses to make a huge cake because they planned a party for all the village to celebrate how special they were to get rid of the Prince who was going to steal their gold. The End.
