Planting Sweet Corn

As the weather begins to get warmer in May and spring is in the air, the Under 2 community gets excited to participate in spring planting. The children help to turn the soil, sprinkle seeds, and water the soil to help the seeds germinate. Each day the children are excited to revisit the planters to observe the sprouts that have started to appear. This activity fosters a love for nature and allows them to explore cause and effect.
