Each summer, the teachers collaborate to create a Summer Program. We plan for many fun and new experiences for our eager friends.
Some of the activities and experiences we engaged in were: a Teddy Bear Picnic; Tie Dye T-Shirt making; Carnival Parade day; Dinosaur Exploration day; Show & Tell; Dance Party… just to name a few. Another very special event we had was International Food Tasting Day. Each family was invited to bring in something from their cultural background to share with the class. The children were very proud of their contributions and excited to share with their peers.
Some of the delicious samples included: Mango Lassi; Semiya Payasam; Indonesian Krupuk; Tamarind; Hummus; Guava jam; Perogies; Khakhara; Mangosteen; Dates… The children enjoyed all of the yummy offerings!
