With all of this time at home, I have decided to plant a vegetable and flower garden. My mother has grown plants from seeds for the garden for as long as I can remember so I decided to give it a try. I’m growing green beans, tomatoes, cucumbers and green peppers in pots in the sunroom and I will plant carrots when I move everything into the garden outside. My mother sent me flower seeds a few weeks later so I’ve also planted them. The flowers I’m growing are sunflowers, zinnias, bachelor buttons, snapdragons, marigolds and baby’s breath. I have taken pictures of their progress through the weeks and hope to plant them in the garden at the end of May.
