With the Spring season underway, our friends in Casa East have been exploring and experimenting with nature. We have been learning about life cycles and parts of plants. We experimented with flowers in food colouring to observe the absorption and dispersement of water, food, and nutrients. We have also planted peas, flowers, and pumpkin seeds.
So far, we have observed the seeds sprouting and planted them in our garden in the playground. Each day, the children eagerly check on their growth as well as ensure that they are regularly watered.
With great care and attention, we hope to grow our very own pumpkins for the Autumn season!
