Earth Day

Earth day was a great time to learn about our planet and how we can contribute every day to take care of it. We used recycled paper to make art and practiced how we can recycle/compost in the classroom and at home. (Please click for more information).

Celebrating Earth Day!

In the Under 3 room, we read a book about recycling and what kind of items we can put in a blue bin.  We also created seed bombs that contain wild flower seeds and biodegradable paper that they can plant in gardens and containers.

Earth Day!

On April 22nd, we celebrate Earth Day. Our Casa community spent several days learning about our amazing planet. We also discussed various ways to take care of it.

Earth Day With Bhoomi!

For Earth Day, one of Bhoomi’s daughters wrote a poem to say “thank you to Earth,” and her other daughter made a poster about “saving Earth”, and they would like to share. Please click for more information.

Earth Day!

Earth Day is a great time to learn about our planet and how we can contribute everyday to take care of it! We participated in Earth Day this year by using recycled newspaper to make biodegradable planters, filling those planters with soil, and carefully placing seeds in the soil.
