ViewDishwashing is a multi-step activity that aids a child not only to learn how to wash dishes, but also develop concentration, hand-eye coordination, and independence. It also helps children to contribute to and care for their classroom environment.

ViewThe children in the Under 3 Community were thrilled to play with Snow!!! The first snowfall was an exciting experience for the children as they used their gross and fine motor skills, hand-eye coordination, and senses to shovel, scoop, mold, and go sledding!

ViewWe offer a variety of materials that the children enjoy working with that encourage the development and coordination of hand movements. These activities help to foster small movements of the hands, offer a number of variations for grasping, eye/hand co-ordination, and encourage the use of two hands working together as well as separately.

ViewMovement exercises such as Yoga can help children feel comfortable in their bodies and competent in their movements. Yoga helps children develop spatial awareness, conceptions of position and speed, strength, flexibility, relaxation, self-calming, and a positive self-image.
